Harris County Sheriff’s Office: Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run
A pedestrian on Thursday night was killed after being struck by an SUV just north of Houston, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver fled the scene, deputies say.
The crash occurred at the intersection of FM 1960 and East Richey Road around 10:17 p.m.
The SUV was described as red by law-enforcement officials.
The identity of the victim has not yet bee released to the public.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the sheriff’s office.
