Motorcyclist loses control, slams into tree in southeast Houston
A motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a tree Monday morning in southeast Houston.
The motorist was eastbound along Fuqua Street near Sabo Road when he lost control and struck a curb, according to Houston Police Department Sgt. David Rose. He then flew off the motorcycle and struck a tree, killing him.

What caused him to lose control remains under investigation, Rose said. No one else was involved in the crash.
Nearby surveillance cameras might have captured the incident and could help crash investigators determine what happened.
