10-year-old boy shot near Spring, deputies say
A 10-year-old boy was shot in north Harris County early Wednesday morning, deputies said.
The boy was at a home in the Birnam Wood subdivision near Spring when he was shot around 4:30 a.m., according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. He possibly suffered multiple gunshot wounds, deputies said.
He was airlifted to a Houston hospital in serious condition. He is expected to make a full recovery, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators are working to determine who shot the boy. They believe the shooter may have opened fire from a moving car.
