Big city livin’ is pretty great, but suburbs have a lot to offer too. Especially if it’s a Houston suburb.
Sugar Land was ranked one of the best small cities in America in a recent study from personal finance site WalletHub. The site looked at over 1,200 cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 to compile the list. Sugar Land ended up in the top ten, ranking fifth.

Sugar Land ranked second in economic health and 39th in affordability.
Texas had a few other representatives. Dallas-Fort Worth suburb Southlake ranked eighth, followed by Cedar Park located outside of Austin.
