While the Houston SPCA’s physical facility has been closed for the past seven months, the SPCA held tele-adoptions and offered curbside pickup. But nothing can truly replace in-person adoptions, and the nonprofit is reopening its facilities today.
Future pet parents will have to adhere to a few safety guidelines, however.
The SPCA will host visits by appointment only, and your temperature will be checked upon arrival. In addition to temperature checks, you’ll have to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
There will be adoption counselors on-site to help you find your new best friend. To set up an appointment time, call 713-869-7722 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
